Once upon a time he was America's favorite rat. But, after long years of being tarnished by scandals and rejected by the French, he's not the same mouse he once was. Back in the 20th century he was the mouse that launched a media giant and won the hearts of millions the world over. But sooner or later every star's spotlight fades and in the 21st century the new darlings of the Mouse House are fresh, young pixar-lated characters like toys, bugs, cars, and lost fish.

Our once beloved rodent hasn't seen the 'big screen' in a long time, and when he did finally get the 3D digital treatment it was on a children's show so mindlessly dull that it made Dora the Explorer look like Masterpiece Theater for the preschool set. So is it any surprise that our fallen American icon has fallen into a slump? That he spends his days kicking around Toon Town and getting into trouble? That he's been in out of the Fritz The Cat Rehab Center more times that one can count on a four-fingered glove? That he's taken to hanging out with and mumbling incoherently to his old Uncle Walt's cryogenically frozen head? It's hard times for the mouse but we still cross our fingers in hopes that he'll bounce back just when everyone else has written him off... just like John Travolta.

All in good fun and I can't go with mentioning the Venture Bros.'s "The Incredible Mr. Brisby" and Mad Magazine's "Mickey Rodent" as two of the best Disney parodies to date and as no small influence on this pic.
