Carol Danvers as a teen. The tried and true formula of a teenaged superhero trying to just get through the trials of high school, much less balance the weight of the world on their shoulders, is one of my favorites, so I reworked her origin a little to have her inherit her Kree-spawned powers at an earlier age and drew out this concept. I used a variation of her first costume to come up with a more 'girl hero' look. Marvel needs more girl heroes.

Oh my god, I was just telling someone today that her first design was a badass costume. I actually bought the first issue of the 1970s comic because I thought it looked so cool. Although... you took away that weird scarf thing which in my opinion made the look. I dig it though, good job.
Thanks. I did several redesigns years back and called her Marvel Girl. Sorta a complement to Morrison's Marvel Boy. But when researching Ms. Marvel a little I realized that a version of her first costume would be way more efffective. You know what they say about the scarf people don't you? They are just hiding the bruises from their kinky breathplay, and that just sends the wrong message to the kids.
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
