Four score and seven ass kickings ago, Honest Abe donned the super-secret steam tech (with rail-splitting action!) to meet the extraordinary and less-publicized challenges threatening the US Government of the 1800s. A part-time member of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? It's unlikely those documents will ever be declassified so we may never know.

Lincoln is my favorite president and steampunk is cool, so once I had the idea for this pic I had to do it! I know some of you have seen this already but due to the popularity of the character so far I decided to resubmit this image without the cover dress and sized for large prints.

I can recognise the gloves from a picture of a guy who dressed up as almost exactly the same thing, I'm therefore guessing that you used that picture for inspiration?

Ed: I think this is where you put your sayings
Skids: well can I put my saying in?
Simon: no way, you know it's too rude to be said.
Ramen:aye, the amount of Bloody noses you can do with saying that.

Other way around actually... [link]

Jeff Allen at StudioCreations was the brainchild behind the amazing cosplay adaptation of my original Steampunk Lincoln drawing. And he did such an amazing job I'd say his costume has had as much if not more to do with the popularity of Steampunk Lincoln this far. Definitely go drop him a comment if you get a chance. :)
